چکیده

To avoid autoimmunity, it is essential to keep the balance between defence against pathogens and maintenance of tolerance self-antigens. Mucosal inflammation may lead breakdown activation autoreactive cells. Growing evidence suggests a major contribution gut microbiota onset chronic, autoimmune inflammatory diseases including rheumatoid arthritis (RA). RA patients show significant differences in composition compared healthy controls, murine models certain bacteria can induce Th17 responses or autoantibody production. The plays an important role regulating immunogenic tolerogenic immune responses. intestinal barrier site body where most host–microbiota interaction takes place. This review will focus on correlation leaky arthritis. Furthermore, be discussed how targeting function dietary changes might provide opportunity modulate development RA.

Role of Gut Microbiota in Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a systemic autoimmune disease, caused by both genetic and environmental factors. Recently, investigators have focused on the gut microbiota, which is thought to be an environmental agent affecting the development of RA. Here we review the evidence from animal and human studies that supports the role of the gut microbiota in RA. We and others have demonstrated that t...

Comparing bone mineral density in rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis

In this study, we decided to compare BMD in patients with psoriatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Methods: This study as a cross-sectional descrip...
